Simply put, Speech-to-Speech Translation (STS) converts spoken audio from one language into spoken output in another language, making instant cross-lingual communication possible. With ViiTor AI’s speech translation feature, you can upload or record audio and have it automatically translated into up to 18 languages. This capability not only addresses cross-border or cross-regional communication needs but also provides convenient, efficient solutions for multilingual content creation, educational training, and many other scenarios.

How to Perform Speech Translation with ViiTor AI?

1. Access the Speech Translation Interface

  1. Visit the Dashboard After logging in, go to your dashboard and locate the “Speech Translation” section.
  2. Choose an Input Method
    1. Record Audio: You can either record audio on the spot or upload audio that is under 2 minutes in length. For best results, record in a quiet environment.
    2. Upload a File: The system supports common formats such as .wav, .mp3, .aac, .amr, .3gp, .m4a, .wma, .ogg, and .ape. (Supported: .wav .mp3 .aac .amr .3gp .m4a .wma .ogg .ape)

2. Adjust Parameters

  1. Select a Voice
  • Choose your preferred voice from the preset voice list (either from the voice library or your own cloned voice).

  1. Submit Audio
    • After uploading (or recording) the audio, the system will automatically recognize and translate it.

    • In the History tab, you can review previous translation records or preview past results.
  3. Preview Translated Audio
    • On the dashboard preview page, click the play button to listen to the translated audio.
    • If the translation is unsatisfactory, you can adjust the parameters or re-record the audio for better results.
